A body language expert has suggested that Meghan and Harry may have practiced their ‘swirling’ dance moves ahead of their big day.
Footage and photographs of the couple’s routine on Wilson Pickett’s Land of a Thousand Dances have been released in their new Neflix trailer, teasing the next installment in their series, which will be released on December 15.
Body language expert Judi James said: “It doesn’t look like a dance was ‘impromptu’.
“She’s a very elegant bride in a low-cut dress, so she wouldn’t have wanted to be thrown on the dance floor causally. It could have been an absolute disaster had it not been practiced.

Meghan and Harry showed off their dance moves at Land of a Thousand Dances, by Wilson Pickett in new photos released in their latest trailer for their Netflix series Harry and Meghan

The fact that Harry cradled Meghan during parts of the dance suggested he was putting on an ‘alpha display’ with his new wife, James suggests

Complicated! The couple pulled off some deft moves during the dance and were clearly focused on having fun and having a good time – and may have practiced beforehand.
Judi, who previously opened up about how frustrated Harry looked in the first three episodes of their Netflix series, said there were a lot of complicated moves the pair showed off – and Harry gave it his all.
She says: “He’s into it 200 per cent – even when they’re apart. He’s almost a dancing dad, with his buttocks out.
“I don’t think Shirley Ballas would allow it in Strictly Come Dancing, but he’s obviously having a lot of fun. He has his mouth open while singing and laughing”.
She said the dance was also “quickly crazy” – and they may have had to rehearse it to be able to enjoy it on the day.
She said: ‘This song is insanely fast. It’s a really hard dance to dance because it’s so fast.

Judi James said repeated movements would have allowed the couple to have fun spontaneously during the dance
“The fact that they can do stages like that means they’ve had a bit of practice. It’s clever because it allowed them to really enjoy it.
She added: “There are a lot of moves, such as the arms around the back of the head, which could have been an awkward disaster if they hadn’t been worked on beforehand.
“Meghan should be very confident that their dancing wouldn’t cause any problems in that dress. Harry would have been confident too – not messing up his clothes and makeup.
“Anything could have happened, whether she fell on the floor or her dress fell off.
“So the fact that they avoided that and managed to dance so extravagantly suggests that they rehearsed the dance ahead of time.”
Noticing Harry’s dancing, she said he was “totally uninhibited”. And she said Meghan “fits in very well” with the completely in sync couple.
She said: “Meghan created elegance with spontaneous delight. She has understood everything and throws herself into it. They are both fully tuned and in sync.
She added that the joyous wedding dance was a stark contrast to how the couple appeared in the documentary.

She says: “I guess it’s remarkable for a royal wedding how completely uninhibited Harry’s body language is.
“It’s like he’s impressing with an alpha screen and dancing like nobody’s watching.
“It’s also quite a sultry ritual with Meghan managing to look stylish and fun at the same time.”
“They both look completely confident with this outgoing performance with no sign of either of them doing anything other than going for it.”
“With the sadness and misery portrayed in their documentary, it’s good to see that there were times when they clearly felt utterly joyful and at ease at a royal family event.”
The couple discussed dancing and shared photos in their new Netflix trailer.
In the pictures, the couple reminisce about their wedding day in May 2018, with Meghan forgetting the name of the song they first danced to.

Initial reports suggested it was Whitney Houston’s hit I Wanna Dance With Somebody after Meghan called it a “happy song” in a 2016 magazine interview.
