Melty Blood: Lumina-Type is a 2D fighting game famous for its exciting and fast-paced battles and beautiful 2D animation. Players control one of 20 characters for heated battles against each other. Select characters to use their many techniques and experience an individual story for each. Expect the update on December 15!
Total worldwide sales* of titles have now exceeded 330,000 copies! Melty Blood: Lumina-Type has been selected for the main tournament category of the Evolution Championship Series 2022 (EVO 2022), one of the largest fighting game competitions in the world. Additionally, it has also been selected as the main title in one of Japan’s biggest fighting game competitions, EVO Japan 2023, which is expected to be held in Japan next year.
The game has received overwhelmingly positive reception, including a nomination for “Best Fighting” at The Game Awards 2021, as well as a finalist for “Fighting Game of the Year” at the 25th DICE Awards.

The Count of Monte Cristo and Ushiwakamaru are characters that appeared in the smartphone game -Spanish -French -Brazilian Portuguese Melty Blood: Lumina-Type will be available in Spanish, French and Brazilian Portuguese from December 15 at 5:00 (UTC) 2022*. Currently Melty Blood: Lumina-Type is available in five languages, Japanese, English, Chinese (Traditional and Simplified) and Korean. After the December 15 update, this will increase to a total of eight languages.
