According to a reported statement made by Milwaukee PD, the public has been “safely evacuated” from the venue and the investigation is “fluid and ongoing”.
LaBelle then drops the bouquet from her hands and tremulously tries to put her microphone back on the mic stand, a job that is taken over by a member of security who emerges from stage right.
Two other security personnel place their hands behind LaBelle’s back and work together to remove her from sight.
The singer’s group quickly abandons their stations to follow LaBelle and her security team.

This puts the crowd in complete uproar, with many shouting loudly towards the stage and others expressing their confusion just before the video ends.
Separate video taken outside the theater shows concertgoers standing on the sidewalk and spilling into the street, talking loudly to each other.
The woman who filmed the clip and posted it on Twitter said “all attendees are waiting outside” after being evacuated.
“We don’t know if we’re going back inside the room. It’s up to the Riverside Theater to decide if we can go back inside,’ she added in the video, which she tweeted at 9:49 p.m. Milwaukee time. “But right now everything is at a standstill.”
