Although they cannot do him good on his new series Wolf PackSarah Michelle Gellar has revealed the accessories she brought back from her long reign as the titular kicking hero buffy the vampire slayer. According to an interview with WhoWhatWearwhich you can see below, the cruel intentions The star revealed that she kept several of her most prized possessions from the seven-season series, including a pair of Buffy-style boots (at least from the early 2000s) and the jacket her character wore in the very last episode, “Chosen”. Perhaps most notable and recognizable to fans of the show, the actress also clung to the legendary stake that earned her the nickname ‘Mister Pointy’.
Any buffy nerd worth his salt (or holy water) will remember that Mister Pointy was originally the stake owned by Jamaican killer Kendra Young (Bianca Lawson of Pretty little Liars) who was called into action after Buffy’s short but very real death in the first season. Buffy would cling to the stake long after Kendra gave it to her as a gift, with the weapon appearing throughout the remaining seasons of the show. We’re glad to know that the “Mister Pointy” legend lives on at the home of Sarah Michelle Gellar and her husband Freddie Prinze Jr.
As for the clothes she decided to add to her personal wardrobe, Sarah Michelle Gellar says she “was devastated” after a pair of “quirky boots” were shipped by the costume designer for a big photoshoot, never returning to set. for Buffy. And, although she still has a pair of shoes (which even fit her start-up!), she’s upset that she couldn’t do it with more physical elements of the character’s legacy. With just two garments in such a long run and a major chapter in her career, we’re equally bummed to know that Gellar isn’t rocking either of these iconic buffy look at home.

For those of us who grew up when buffy the vampire slayer was on the air, it was one of those shows that you watched religiously every week. With a star-studded lineup of some of the biggest names of the late 90s and early 2000s, Sarah Michelle Gellar was joined on the show by Alyson Hannigan, Nicholas Brendon, David Boreanaz, Charisma Carpenter, James Marsters, Michelle Trachtenberg, and Anthony Stewart Head.
The show would also (oddly) feature several members of the classic teen movie Bring it on including Eliza Dushku, Clare Kramer and Nicole Bilderback. It also featured names that were now very notable at a time when they were just beginning, such as Pedro Pascal (The last of us), Amy Adams(Disillusioned), and Kal Penn (Harold & Kumar franchise) – to name a few. Of course, the series was also a jumping-off point for many of its main cast members, with Sarah Michelle Gellar getting a big boost from the show to go on to work in classics like I know what you did last summer, Cry 2and cruel intentions.
Say that buffy left a mark on pop culture would be a huge understatement, and, although Sarah Michelle Gellar will not come back to the iconic character anytime soon, there have long been rumors and pushes for a rebooted series. For Gellar, the actress took a major break from the world of TV and film with her husband and fellow artist, Freddie Prinze Jr., with the duo both to reemerge over the past year. You can currently catch Sarah Michelle Gellar starring in Paramount+’s supernatural teen drama Wolf Pack and in a smaller capacity in Netflix’s teen drama Revenge.
