STEVE LUKATHER’s son marries JONATHAN CAIN’s daughter

According People magazine, Trevor “Trev” Lukather — the musician son of TOTO guitarist Steve Lukather – married Madison Cainthe daughter of JOURNEY keyboardist Jonathan Cain.

The ceremony took place on Saturday, December 3 at the Houdini Mansion in Laurel Canyon, Los Angeles.

The couple got married after four years of dating.

“As a father, you have hopes and dreams for your children. Top of that list is hoping your son or daughter finds the perfect partner to share life with,” Steve Lukather Told People. “Madison far exceeded what I dreamed for my son Trev. She’s not only so beautiful on the outside, she’s even more beautiful on the inside. I adore him and welcome him and his family. It’s a very exciting day for both sides of our now extended family.”

Jonathan Cain said her daughter and her new husband “really complement and complement each other in every way.”

“In a world where it seems young couples are hesitant to commit to each other, I’m happy as a father. [that] my daughter Madison and Trev have decided to share their vows and establish a covenant of love towards each other in marriage,” he added. “May their example lead others along the same path.

Two years ago, Steve Lukather discussed her son’s engagement in October 2020 with Madison during an appearance on the “Behind the Vinyl” podcast. Clarify that Madisonthe mother is not Caincurrent wife, donald trumpthe controversial spiritual adviser of Paula White-Cainwho prayed for a mass abortion of “satanic pregnancies” in January 2020, Steve said, “The crazy woman, that’s not her mother. I mean, we all laugh about it and we go, Ah, wow!” No offense to jonathan or something – if that’s how he wants to live, that’s cool. jonathan and I’ve been friends since I was a teenager, and I love and respect him, but with some of this stuff, you just have to say, ‘Really, really?’ That’s all I’m going to say about it, because we’re parents now, or we’re going to be.”

Steve went on to predict that the news of her son’s engagement to jonathanThe daughter of would be greeted with some amusement by the mainstream music press, which was never particularly kind to either group.

“You can imagine all these hipster critics saying, like… they’d lose their minds, ‘You mean there’s going to be a TOTO/JOURNEY baby? Noooooo!” he said. “I can just see Jan Wenneris at the head of rolling stone [magazine] explode and take a fucking cutter and slit his throat, you know what I mean. So for that, I’m kidding. But she’s a wonderful girl. And I like jonathan. i’m a big fan of JOURNEY. These guys are my friends, you know what I mean, and I respect them. But there’s an irony to that that you just can’t deny.”

When the “Behind the Vinyl” investigators praised Steve to get a sense of humor about the whole thing, he said, “Fuck yeah! I mean, jonathan laughed. We’ve both been abused by the press since day one, you know what I mean, and now the combination of the two has to be like, ‘Noooo! What if he was a musician? Noooooo!’ Prepare to be a meme, that’s all I said. It’s a good thing I have a sense of humor because when it comes out the amount of bullshit people are going to give us is hilarious. You gotta have a sense of humor, man.

Madisonthe mother is jonathanthe second wife of, Elizabeth Yvette Fullertonwith whom he has two other children, twins Lisa and Westonborn in 1996. He and Elizabeth divorced at the end of 2014.

The 29 year old player Madison is pursuing her own singing career, having participated in “blind auditions” during an October 2018 episode of NBCis the hit reality series “The voice”. Certainly, fighting stage fright, she sang Alanis Morissetteit is “You have to know”but failed to get the judges to spin for her.

The 35 year old player Trev is himself a guitarist, who has just released a new single, “You wish”.
