Motel staff told DailyMail.com that a maid discovered Boss’ body during a wellness check when the DJ did not leave in time.
The Oak Tree Inn manager, who wanted to be identified only by his first name, Rakesh, said: ‘He went into his room and never came out. At 11:15 on Tuesday the housekeeper opened the door to check the room.
“There was his stuff in there but no one there. She checked the bathroom, and there was blood everywhere.
‘She was very scared. This is the first time such a thing has happened here. We called 911, they told us to check his pulse but there was nothing.
“The paramedics and the police came and they said he was dead. Maybe he did it during the day on Monday. It’s a busy and noisy road outside, it’s possible no one heard it because of that.
Workers said Boss had “shot himself in the head”, but no one heard the shot. The scene was described as “pretty bad”.

“I’m sure not a day will go by that we don’t honor his memory. We ask for privacy during this difficult time for me and especially for our three children.
“Stephen, we love you, we miss you and I will always save you the last dance.”
